CDC Criteria for Other Infections of Female Reproductive Tract

Body temperature

Does the patient have lower abdominal pain?

Does the patient have nausea?

Is the patient vomiting?

Does the patient have abdominal tenderness?

Does the patient have dysuria?

Has a pathogen been isolated from culture of tissue or fluid from the affected female reproductive organ?

Is an abscess or other evidence of a female reproductive organ infection seen during surgery?

Is an abscess or other evidence of infection seen in a female reproductive orgen on histopathologic examination?

Has a pathogen been isolated in blood cultures?

Has the patient's physician diagnosed infection of the female reproductive system?
