Description

Cronin et al proposed an immunohistochemical algorithm for the diagnosis of myeloid leukemia cutis. The authors are from Stanford University.

Patient selection: CD3 negative, CD20 negative malignant infiltrate of the skin that is myeloperoxidase and/or CD43 positive

Immunohistochemical pattern for classification:

(1) myeloperoxidase (MPO)

(2) CD68

(3) CD56

(4) CD117

MPO

CD68
