Tande et al listed conditions that can result in an immunocompromised host.
Immunocompromising condition:
(1) HIV
(2) absolute neutropenia (< 500 per µL)
(3) previous transplant (solid organ, hematopoietic stem cell)
(4) immunosuppressive therapy
(5) systemic corticosteroids for more than 30 days
(6) disease-modifying drugs (methotrexate, azathioprine, cyclosporine)
(7) active malignancy
(8) targeted therapy (TNF-alpha inhibitor, other)
(9) cytotoxic chemotherapy
Other conditions to consider (not listed in paper):
(1) severe malnutrition
(2) hypogammaglobulinemia
(3) other causes of severe lymphopenia
