Several scoring systems for the intensive care unit (ICU) have been used to evaluate patients with organophosphate poisoning. The choice of which one to use depends on the resources available, complexity and personal preference.
In general, the higher the score the worse the prognosis.
Timing for data collection is usually within the first 24 hours after ICU admission.
