Examination: head CT with axial views
Parameters:
(1) maximum distance between the left lateral and right lateral anterior horns in cm
(2) minimum distance between the 2 caudate (bicaudate) nuclei in cm
Huckman number =
= (maximum distance between anterior horns) + (minimum bicaudate distance)
where:
• The same parameters are used in the bicaudate-frontal (ventricular) index.
