Description

Facial lipoatrophy may be one of the manifestations of HIV-associated lipodystrophy in patients treated with protease inhibitors. The authors are from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.


 

Parameters:

(1) degree of atrophy of subcutaneous fat

(2) prominence of facial musculature
