Remove the athlete from the contest. Evaluate immediately and every 5 minutes. Permit to return to contest if no symptoms or amnesia for 20 minutes. |

Remove the athlete from the contest and do not to return. Examine the next day. Permit the athlete to return to practice after 1 week if asymptomatic. |
3 |
Remove the athlete from the contest and transport to hospital. Perform a neurological examination and observe overnight. Permit the athlete to return to play after 2 weeks if asymptomatic. |
