Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) may be:

Nonstructural causes (COEIN):

(1) coagulopathy (C)

(2) ovulatory dysfunction (O)

(3) endometrial (E)

(4) iatrogenic (I)

(5) not yet classified (N)
