The vomiting of feces is a rare finding.
Feculent vomiting is associated with feces in the vomitus and a foul-smelling breath.
Causes of vomiting of feces:
(1) gastrocolic fistula
(2) coprophagy
(3) bowel obstruction, either paralytic or mechanical
(4) violent reverse peristalsis
Clozapine can cause constipation which can lead to severe impaction with bowel obstruction that may be complicated by feculent vomiting.
