Aplastic anemia and myelodysplastic features can both show pancytopenia and other overlapping features. Iwasaki et al reported findings that can help to distinguish between these two conditions. The authors are from Nagoya University, Chubu University and Nagoya First Hospital in Japan.
Patient selection: aplastic anemia vs myelodysplastic syndrome with refractory anemia
