Description

The Falls Efficacy Scale (FES) can help evaluate a person with a history of falls for his or her level of confidence in performing daily activities. This can help identify the patient who may be handicapped by real or imagined risk of falling, and to target areas for rehabilitation. The authors are from Yale University.

NOTE: Self-efficacy indicates the person's perception of capability to perform a task.

The instrument consists of 10 questions.
