Description

Fernandez et al used a modification of the McCabe score (developed for sepsis) to evaluate patients at discharge from the intensive care unit (ICU). This can help identify patients who have a high risk of in-hospital mortality. The authors are from Hospital de Sabadell in Sabadell, Spain.
