EULAR Primary Sjogren’s Syndrome Disease Activity (ESSDAI): Glandular Subscore

EULAR developed a disease activity index for primary Sjogren's syndrome called the ESSDAI. This consists of 12 subscores measuring various components of disease activity. The authors are from the European League Against Rheumatism Sjogren's Task Force.

Patient selection: primary Sjogren's syndrome

Exclude: salivary gland stone or infection

Parameters for glandular subscore:

(1) parotid gland swelling

(2) submandibular gland swelling

(3) lacrimal gland swelling
