EULAR Primary Sjogren’s Syndrome Disease Activity (ESSDAI): Articular Subscore

Description

EULAR developed a disease activity index for primary Sjogren's syndrome called the ESSDAI. This consists of 12 subscores measuring various components of disease activity. The authors are from the European League Against Rheumatism Sjogren's Task Force.

Patient selection: primary Sjogren's syndrome

Exclude: osteoarthritis

Parameters for articular subscore:

(1) arthralgia with morning stiffness > 30 minutes

(2) 28 joint count for synovitis
