Description

Bjork et al reported the initial estimated glomerular filtration (eGFR) equations from the Lund-Malmo study in 2007. The authors are from Skane University Hospital in Lund and Lasarettet Trelleborg in Sweden.


Patient selection: Swedish Caucasians, ages >= 18 years

 

Parameters:

(1) plasma creatinine in µmol/L

(2) sex (0 if male, 1 if female)

(3) age in years

(4) lean body mass in kilograms (by the method of James)
