A male may develop or have worsening of erectile dysfunction following surgery to correct hypospadias.
Patient selection: hypospadias status/post surgical correction
Risk factors for erectile dysfunction:
(1) older age
(2) failure of the surgery
(3) >= 2 direct visual internal urethrotomies (DVIU) to manage urethral stricture
(4) surgery involved division of the urethral plate
(5) placement of a ventral corporal graft
