Cat-scratch disease may be associated with autonomic dysfunction which may be manifested as erectile dysfunction.
Pathogen: Bartonella henselae
Clinical features:
(1) localized papular lesion at site of a cat scratch
(2) regional lymphadenopathy
(3) autonomic dysfunction
(4) new onset or worsening of erectile dysfunction
Diagnosis:
(1) exclusion of other causes of erectile dysfunction
(2) reversal of erectile dysfunction following antibiotic therapy for Bartonella
