Zorab et al reported equations for estimating the height of an adolescent based on tibial length. This is useful for estimating what the normal height would be for a patient with scoliosis or other spinal deformity. The authors are from the Institute of Diseases of the Chest in London.
Patient selection: adolescents of European descent with ages 11, 13 and 15 years
Parameter:
(1) age group
(2) gender
(3) tibial length in cm
