estimated body mass in kilograms for a female =
= (0.522 * (stature)) + (1.809 * (bi-iliac breadth)) - 75.5
If skeletal measurements are being used, the living bi-iliac breadth can be estimated as:
(1.17 * (skeletal bi-iliac breadth)) - 3
