Vergunst et al reported an equation for predicting the 1-year glomerular filtration rate for a patient with ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis. Renal function at the time of biopsy is the best predictor for renal function in 1 year. The authors are from Leiden University Medical Center in The Netherlands.
