= (0.12 * (hematocrit)) + (0.17 * (total protein)) - 2.07
WBV in centipoises at a shear rate of 104/seconds =
= (0.12 * (hematocrit)) + (0.19 * (total protein)) - 2.13
where:
• The equation in de Simone (2005) is incorrect.
The value can be confirmed by direct WBV measurement.
