Foregut:
(1) esophagus
(2) stomach
(3) proximal duodenum
(4) pancreas
(5) liver
(6) gallbladder and bile ducts
(7) trachea and respiratory tract
Midgut:
(1) distal duodenum
(2) ileum and jejunum
(3) appendix
(4) ascending colon
(5) proximal two thirds of the transverse colon
Hindgut:
(1) distal third of the transverse colon through the sigmoid colon
(2) rectum
(3) anal canal
(4) urogenital sinus
