EDMUS Impairment Scale for Multiple Sclerosis with Clinical Progression

The European Database for Multiple Sclerosis (EDMUS) used an impairment scale similar to the Disability Status Scale (DSS) of Kurtzke.

Progression was determined from the date of the first clinical event to severe, non-reversible disability.

A benign form is a residual disability from 0 to 2 AND disease duration > 20 years.
