(2) sisal (fibers from an agave)
(3) henequen (fibers from an agave)
(4) istle (fiber from agave and other plants)
(5) jute
(6) hemp
(7) tow
(8) cocoa fiber
(9) oakum (loose fibers from old rope)
(10) baled waste kapok
(11) Spanish moss
(12) excelsior (softwood shavings used for packing)
(13) sawdust
(14) woodchips
where:
• Flyings appear to refer to material that flies off during processing.
Factors reducing the risk:
(1) wet
(2) presence of a noncombustible coating
(3) atmosphere oxygen poor or with a suppressant
