Description

The Dusseldorf score can be used to predict prognosis in patients with primary myelodysplasia. It is similar to other scores except that it uses serum LDH as one of the scoring variables. It can be used to assign patients to risk-adapted treatment protocols.

Parameters:

(1) percent blasts in the peripheral blood

(2) hemoglobin in g/dL

(3) platelet count per µL

(4) serum LDH in U/L
