Bradycardia can be seen in a number of disorders.
Causes of bradycardia include:
(1) inferior myocardial infarction (right coronary artery, other)
(2) vasovagal reflex
(3) carotid sinus disorder (hypersensitive carotid sinus syndrome, carotid angioplasty)
(4) intra-abdominal hemorrhage
(5) increased intracranial pressure
(6) hypothyroidism
(7) hyperkalemia
(8) hypothermia
(9) Chagas disease
(10) Lyme disease
(11) syphilis
(12) viral infection (parvovirus B19, coxsackievirus, other)
(13) drug adverse effect
(14) toxin exposure
