Daghor-Abbaci et al reported an algorithm for the diagnosis of Adult-Onset Still's Disease (AOSD). The authors are from multiple institutions in Algeria.
Patient selection: adult suspected of having Adult-Onset Still's disease
Parameters:
(1) typical rash
(2) elevated body temperature in °C >= 2 weeks
(3) arthritis lasting >= 2 weeks
(4) pharyngitis
(5) neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR)
(6) ferritin and glycosylated ferritin

Interpretation:
• minimum score: 0
• maximum score: 13
• A score >= 7 indicates Adult-Onset Still's Disease
Performance:
• At the cut-off the sensitivity was 0.93 and specificity 0.93.
• The area under the ROC curve was 0.97.
