Description

Male eunuchs may be identified by changes in their physical appearance and development.


 

Features of eunuchoidism:

(1) eunuchoid skeletal proportions

(1a) upper body to lower body ratio < 1

(1b) arm span > 2 inches greater than height

(2) lack of adult male hair distribution

(2a) sparse axillary, pubic, facial and body hair

(2b) lack of recession of hair over the temporal area

(3) infantile genitalia

(3a) small penis, testes, and prostate

(3b) under-developed scrotum

(4) diminished muscular development and mass
