Description

SON Formula tablets (Master Amino Acid Pattern, International Nutrition Research) is a patented dietary protein substitute that provides the essential amino acids. It is rapidly absorbed and utilized after administration. It is more nutritious than dietary protein by several measures and results in release of smaller amounts of nitrogen catabolites.


To maintain the body in nitrogen balance:

= (body weight in kilograms) * 400

 

To substitute for other sources of dietary protein:

 

dose of SON formula per day in grams =

= (dietary protein requirements per day in grams) * 0.4

 

The caloric intake associated with SON formula:

SON formula tablets contain 1,000 mg per tablet for oral administration.
