Patient population: 400 adults from North India
Measurements taken:
(1) length of the manubrium in mm
(2) length of the corpus in mm
total length in mm =
= (length of manubrium) + (length of corpus)
Interpretation:
• A total length > 140 indicates male gender.
• A total length 131 – 140 is indeterminate.
• A total length < 131 indicates female gender.
