Description

Pelodera strongyloides is a nematode found in the soil. It is primarily a problem for animals but it can also infect humans.


Skin involvement may take the form of:

(1) pruritic dermatitis

(2) cutaneous larva migrans

(3) papules or papulonodules

(4) pustules

 

Diagnosis can be made by skin scrapings or biopsy.
