The Definition of Remission in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (DORIS) gives criteria for various nuances of the term remission. It was developed by a large international task force.
Patient selection: systemic lupus erythematosus
Parameters:
(1) SLEDAI-2K score (from 0 to 105)
(2) serologic activity (high serum titer of antibodies to double-stranded DNA with low serum C3 concentration)
(3) glucocorticoid therapy (in mg prednisone per day)
(4) immunosuppressive therapy
(5) antimalarial drug therapy
