Description

The Dancing Larynx Syndrome is a tremor involving the larynx.


Clinical features:

(1) complex arhythmical movements of the laryngeal cage

(2) variable tongue and/or posterior pharyngeal movements and clicking

(3) absence of movements by the uvula

 

The findings may be associated with:

(1) multiple sclerosis

(2) Parkinson's disease
