Parameters:
(1) time period (28 days)
(2) daily dose of corticosteroid in mg prednisone equivalent
cumulative steroid dose for time period in mg prednisone equivalent =
= SUM(daily dose of corticosteroid)
average daily dose =
= (cumulative dose) / (number of days in period)
If the daily dose is constant then:
cumulative steroid dose in mg =
= (daily dose in mg) * (number of days)
