Criteria of the International Myeloma Working Group for IgM MGUS (IgM Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance)

Criteria for IgM MGUS - all of the following:

(1) IgM monoclonal protein, with concentration < 3 g/dL (30 g/L)

(2) lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate of the bone marrow < 10%

(3) no evidence of a clinical effect from the disorder (absence of anemia, constitutional symptoms, hyperviscosity, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly)
