(1) central obesity

(2) blood pressure

(3) serum triglyceride concentration in mmol/L

4) dyslipidemia

(5) fasting blood glucose in mmol/L

Parameter

Finding

central obesity

waist to height ratio >= 0.48 for boys; >= 0.46 for girls

blood pressure

systolic BP to height ratio >= 0.76; diastolic BP to height ratio >= 0.49

serum triglycerides

>= 1.47 mmol/L

dyslipidemia

HDL cholesterol < 1.03 mmol/L OR non-HDL cholesterol >= 3.76 mmol/L

fasting blood glucose

>= 5.6 mmol/L

waist to height ratio = (waist in cm) / (height in cm)

systolic BP to height ratio = (systolic BP in mm Hg) / (height in cm)
