Criteria of Gulati et al for Grading Platelet Satellitism

Gulati graded the degree of platelet satellitism. This is an element of EDTA-dependent pseudothrombocytopenia (see above).

Synonym: platelet satallitosis

Parameters:

(1) average percent of the neutrophil circumference with surrounding platelets

(2) percent of neutrophils and bands showing at least 1 Dohle body
