The Human Leukocyte Antigen HLA-B27 is associated with a number of immunologic disorders.
Conditions associated with HLA-B27:
(1) reactive arthritis (seronegative enthesopathy and arthropathy, SEA)
(2) ankylosing spondylitis (axial spondyloarthropathy)
(3) acute anterior uveitis
Conditions that may be associated with HLA-B27:
(1) psoriatic arthritis
(2) inflammatory bowel disease (requires exclusion of organisms causing reactive arthritis)
