Following transplantation of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC) from an ABO or D incompatible donor there is a need to carefully select components for transfusion that reflect the patient's new antigenic status.
Components:
(1) red blood cell (RBC) products
(2) fresh frozen plasma (FFP) or platelets
(3) second choice for platelets
