Infection with the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) may show a number of complications, some of which can be fatal.
Secondary infections:
(1) pneumonia
(2) sepsis
(3) other
Other complications:
(1) severe ARDS
(2) myocarditis with heart failure
(3) ICU-related complications (stress ulcer, weakness, DVT, CLABSI, etc)
People at increased risk:
(1) older male with multiple comorbidities
(2) immunosuppression
