Description

Rosacea is a chronic condition resulting in erythema, telangiectasia, papules and pustules in the central region of the face. It tends to affect fair-skinned individuals. It is more common but milder in women, for whom it may have significant emotional distress due to the chronic, cosmetic changes. In later stages of the disease it may be disfiguring, especially in men.
