Patient selection: hip fracture (proximal femur)

Outcome: activities of daily living (ADL) at 6 months after repair

Model: CART (classification and regression tree)

Parameters:

(1) age of the patient in years

(2) type of femoral fracture

(3) nursing care level prior to the fracture (none, support level 1, support level 2, care level 1, care level 2, care level 3, care level 4, care level 5)
