(1) lacrimation
(2) chemical burns, usually of cornea
Gastrointestinal findings:
(1) irritation of mucous membranes in mouth and throat
(2) nausea and vomiting
Respiratory findings:
(1) burning of nasal mucosa with rhinorrhea
(2) tracheobronchitis with cough
(3) dyspnea
(4) substernal pain
(5) choking
(6) acute pulmonary edema
(7) hypoxemia, airway obstruction and acute respiratory distress
Skin changes:
(1) chemical burn
(2) dermatitis with vesicles
