Description

4-bromo-2,5-DMPEA (4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine) is an intoxicant and hallucinogen typically used by adolescents and young adults who frequent dance clubs.


 

The drug may be taken orally or inhaled as a powder ("snorted").

 

The clinical effects are dose dependent. Since the drug is prepared in clandestine operations the purity and potency can be highly variable.

"mellow" (passive and relaxed), increased sensory awareness, euphoria/intoxication

intermediate (20 - 40 mg)

LSD-like hallucinations

high (> 50 mg)

psychosis, fearful hallucinations ("bad trip")
