A patient may develop signs and symptoms during or after an infusion of infliximab. Some are minor but others can be serious or even life-threatening.
Allergic signs and symptoms:
(2) bronchospasm or wheezing
Other signs and symptoms:
(8) chest and/or back pain

<= 24 hours
> 24 hours
admission to ICU
respiratory distress, hypotension, need for physiologic monitoring, admission to hospital
need for extended observation usually with the need to stop the infusion
none of the above; self-limited; resolution after stopping or slowing the infusion
