Description

The Clinical Disease Severity Score (CDSS) can be used to determine the severity of a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection in an infant or child.

Patient selection: infant or child with RSV

Parameters:

(1) transcutaneous oxygen saturation in percent

(2) respiratory rate in breaths per minute

(3) retractions

(4) chest auscultation

(5) activity
