Type 2A: Malignant ameloblastoma (well-differentiated)
Type 2B: Ameloblastic carcinoma (poorly differentiated)
Subtypes of ameloblastoma based on preceding lesion:
(1) de novo (central vs peripheral)
(2) ex ameloblastoma
(3) ex odotogenic cyst
Subtypes of primary intraosseous carcinoma arising de novo
Type 3A: nonkeratinizing
Type 3B: keratinizing
