Description

Fielding and Magliato used a simple anatomic classification for subtrochanteric fractures. These are fractures at the level of the lesser trochanter or extending to 2 inches (5 cm) below the level of the lesser trochanter. The authors are from St. Luke's Hospital in New York City.
