Pustulosis in an infant can be diagnosed by meeting one of the following criteria.
Criteria 1 - all of the following:
(1) age <= 12 months of age
(2) pustules
(3) physician diagnoses pustulosis
Criteria 2 - both of the following:
(2) physician institutes appropriate antimicrobial therapy
