Description

Exposure to fungi, molds and mushrooms may be associated with hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP).

(4) Botrytis cinerea

(6) Cladosporium species

(7) Cryptococcus species

(8) Fusarium species

(9) Graphium species

(13) Trichoderma species

(14) phytase (enzyme from Aspergillus or Trichoderma)

 

Mushrooms:

(1) shitake

(2) bunashimeji

(3) Pleurotus

(4) Pholiota

(5) Lyophyllum

(6) Aqaricus

 

Syndrome associated with fungi, molds and mushrooms:

(1) mushroom grower's lung

(2) koji brewer lung

(3) farmer's lung

(4) humidifier lung

(5) malt worker's lung

(6) woodworker's lung

(7) indoor air alveolitis

(8) compost lung

(9) stucco worker's lung

(10) suberosis

(11) baker's lung

(12) waste sorter's lung

(13) sauna taker's lung

(14) wine grower's lung

(15) wind instrument alveolitis

(16) sequoiosis

(17) peat worker's lung

(18) cheese washer's lung

(19) salami producer's lung

(20) phytase alveolitis

 

Differential diagnosis:

(1) opportunistic lung infection

(2) bacterial pneumonia

(3) toxic mold exposure
